We’ve helped many families create savings plans to make college dreams a possibility, not because of what I’ve done, but because of who you’re, I’m flying quickly, failing My dream for my daughter Rachel is.
For her to get a really good, uh, uh, college education school is the only way for children to, to have a better future. Um, I didn’t know [00:01:00] that my dad was saving money. Um, once a month. I told her that, uh, she has now a saving account for college. She just tell me, daddy, I’m ready for college because she knows she has money.
So my mom inspired me because she didn’t have that opportunity to like finish college or um, high school. That made me say that that was something that I wanted to do. I’m really proud of VI too because she takes good, seriously. I just know that I have a better future to go to. I will, uh, uh, do whatever it take to continue to save money for her.
Well, saving for my children’s education is important ’cause I’d like to be able to contribute to that so the burden doesn’t fall a hundred percent onto them. College is very expensive and makes it easier to stay in college and complete college when you have [00:02:00] some financial stability.
I opened up a savings account for my daughter, did the 5 2 9 plan for her college fund. So when it comes in the Maye showroom, she knows that she wants, when she goes, gets ready to go to college, there is money there for her. I just want her to be able to go to any school she wants and to be able to help her.
I’ve gone back to school right now. It’s pot time. Um. I take as many classes a semester as I can. The plan is to go on and get my bachelor’s. I opened up college savings account for my boys, [00:03:00] for them to go to college someday and pursue whatever they wanna alone. I would never be able to afford it. So to have any savings put towards it will be a help.
You know, now I have a full-time job, um, where I’m able to save a lot more money. It’s a full life, but I’m doing it.
I attend the Match Charter High School. I wanna go to Princeton, Boston College, Northeastern, or any college I can attend. My mom saves money for me, my other sister and my two brothers, and she does it equally. I can describe my mom as she, she’s really brave. My dream for Jasmine is like, I have like a good education.
Uh. And also I, I dreamed her to go to a good college. I didn’t have the opportunity to do it for myself. She wanted to go to college, but she couldn’t. So that’s [00:04:00] why I, I planned to do that for my daughter. I’m gonna start working the summer. So if I have the chance, I’ll deposit $25 every month if I can.
When I graduate from college, I can see the first reaction of my parents is that they’ll be crying because I’ll be like the first person to graduate and go to college. In our family, Jasmine can do it. I feel proud of myself and I feel proud because I have like great parents that was always there for me.
My dream for the future is to go to college and get a good education and show other kids that if I could do it, they could do it [00:05:00] too.
