[00:00:00] Have you checked out MEFA Pathways Popular Places activity, which allows you, the student, to explore places in the U. S. where jobs are most popular and skills are most needed? Here’s how to find it. Log in or create an account at MEFApathway. org. Navigate to the Discover Careers tab, select the Investigate Your Future tab, and then select Popular Places.

On the next page, select Get Started. This activity allows you to filter by career category or occupation to see which states have the highest concentration of job listings. The results are color coded and show the different concentrations, the selected career category or occupation across the country.

Blue States have the fewest careers with green having a bit more yellow, even more in red, having the most, you can select a particular state. and a specific career, if you haven’t yet done so, to [00:01:00] preview a summary card with a brief description of the career, along with the required education level and median wages.

Selecting more info reveals extensive details about the career. You may also select save this career in the summary card to add it to your My Careers list, where you can track potential careers. and develop a plan for after high school.
