MEFA’s Ambassador Program facilitates bringing financial aid experts from colleges and universities into high schools to talk with junior and senior students and their parents about the financial aid process. Parents love this information and the Ambassadors really enjoy engaging with families at this critical time. In this presentation, MEFA staff and current Ambassadors will share why you might love taking on this low-commitment, high-reward volunteer role. We’ll talk about great ways to start, the professional development training you can take advantage of, and the connections you’ll make as part of this program. We’ll keep the meeting short and make sure we leave lots of time to answer any questions.
