POSITION: MEFA Pathway Program Manager


REPORTING TO: Director of MEFA Pathway

POSITION TYPE: Salaried/Full Time

OVERVIEW:

MEFA is seeking an energetic and creative candidate to be a member of the College Planning, Education, and Training team with a primary focus on advancing MEFA Pathway and other MEFA programs and services to middle and high schools. The role of this position will be to work closely with educators as they guide students, and families through post-secondary readiness and success. This person will report directly to the Director of MEFA Pathway and work closely with the MEFA Pathway Program Coordinator. Salary commensurate with experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree required, master's degree desired

  • 2- 4-years of experience in an educational setting helping students with post-secondary planning

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Well established organizational abilities and exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated leadership skills

  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team

  • Involvement with professional trade association(s) desired

  • Demonstrated strong computer skills, including business intelligence and data analysis skills

  • Bilingual language skills desired

  • Ability to work in a hybrid work model

  • Attention to detail, and ability to achieve goals

  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams

RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:

  • Under the direction of the Director of MEFA Pathway, provide leadership, direction, and coordination for the MEFA Pathway online web portal

  • Ability to build strong relationships with school partners and assess needs to ensure successful integration of MEFA Pathway

  • Work directly with the MEFA Pathway Director to understand, assist, and contribute to the creation of the communications plan, outreach approach and long and short term strategies

  • Create and implement utilization and success plans with affiliate schools to support educators as they guide students and families through post-secondary planning

  • Responsible for developing curriculum within MEFA Pathway that can be used to improve the experience and use of MEFA Pathway by educators, students and families

  • Ability to work with multiple parties including the product developers, education partners, and MEFA staff to manage continuing enhancements for the MEFA Pathway portal

  • Collaborate with the larger marketing team to ensure MEFA Pathway's integration throughout all MEFA offerings

  • Participation in committees and professional organizations, including at state and national conferences

  • Work with Director of College Planning, Education and Training to enhance MEFA's professional development offerings and create additional content for educators through the MEFA Institute

  • Deliver presentations/webinars for students and families on topics such as MEFA Pathway, College Admissions, College Financing, and Paying the College Bill.
