[00:00:00] You may be planning on attending college, or you may be planning to go directly into the workforce. Either way, the end goal is the same, heading into a field or a career that you love, figuring that out can seem daunting, especially if you’re not sure exactly what that field or career may be. To help you with this, MEFA Pathways developed four new features within its platform together called Investigate Your Future To get started, log into MEFA Pathway.

And navigate to the Investigate Your Future feature under the Discover Careers tab. There you can access the four tools now trending. Looking ahead, popular places and career path. The now trending tool allows students to select a location and career category, which will then show top careers within that category, soft skills and technology skills needed for those careers and companies hiring.

Students can favor a career to be added to their [00:01:00] career list. Search for careers related jobs on LinkedIn and explore a careers trajectory on the career path tool. Looking ahead encourages students to explore current and forecasted in demand career opportunities with the option to search by a location and career category of choice.

Students can use the popular places tool. To look at areas in the United States where the highest concentration of jobs and skills are in demand, and the career path tool highlights incremental steps students might follow to reach their desired career. Students select a starter career, which appears in the middle of the landscape with an identified stepping stone and can then do similar and advancement careers.
