With the new year comes new opportunities for students to earn money for college, and the scholarships available this coming year focus on a wide range of interests. AFA Teens for Alzheimer's Awareness College Scholarship

How to Apply: Write an essay no more than 1,500-words that describes the impact of Alzheimer's disease or another dementia-related illness on you, your families or communities, and what you have learned from it.
Eligibility: Must be a college-bound high school senior
Amount: $5,000
Deadline: March 1, 2022

The Gallery Collection Create-A-Greeting-Card Scholarship

How to Apply: Create an original front cover of a greeting card using an original photo, piece of artwork, or computer graphic
Eligibility: Open to all students at least 14 years of age in high school or college
Amount: $10,000
Deadline: March 2, 2022

Frame My Future Contest

How to Apply: Submit an original creation explaining what you hope to accomplish in your life (both personal and professional) after college. You may use poetry, photography, ink, collage, painting, mixed media, or graphic design.
Eligibility: Open to any legal U.S. resident who will be a full-time student at a U.S. college or university in the 2022-23 academic year
Amount: $6,000 with a second place prize of $2,500 and a third place prize of $1,000
Deadline: April 1, 2022

American Fire Sprinkler Association Scholarship Contest

How to Apply: Read an essay about fire sprinklers and then answer a short 8-question quiz
Eligibility: Open to all high school seniors who are U.S. citizens or legal residents and planning to enroll in college by Fall 2022
Amount: Ten winners will receive $2,000 each
Deadline: April 1, 2022

Citizens Bank Scholarship

How to Apply: Complete the online application
Eligibility: Must be at least 16 years old and enrolled or intending to enroll at least half time in an accredited undergraduate or graduate post-secondary institution
Amount: Grand prize of $15,000 and monthly prizes of $2,500
Deadline: June 30, 2022

Odenza Marketing Group Scholarship

How to Apply: Submit answers to two essay questions speaking to (1) a city that you believe would benefit your future career and (2) why you believe you should receive this scholarship
Eligibility: Open to all high school and college students who are citizens of the U.S. or Canada and are ages 16-25 with at least one full year of college remaining and at least a 2.5 GPA
Amount: $500
Deadline: October 30, 2022
