Heart of Healthcare Nursing Scholarship

How to Apply: Write an essay of 2,500 words or less on how the coronavirus pandemic has caused you to reconsider your career choices or how it has simply reaffirmed them

Eligibility: Open to recently accepted or currently enrolled student in a CCNE or ACEN-accredited BSN, MSN, or DNP program in any concentration or specialty area of nursing with at least a 3.5 GPA

Amount: $1,000

Deadline: September 1, 2021


AfterCollege Nursing Student Scholarship

How to Apply: Create a profile and submit your resume

Eligibility: Open to currently enrolled students who are seeking a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in nursing with at least a 3.0 GPA

Amount: $500

Deadline: September 30, 2021


TALSN Scholarship for Certified Nursing Assistants

How to Apply: Write an essay between 400 and 600 words on how you plan to make an impact on the world through your medical career

Eligibility: Must be interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant

Amount: $800

Deadline: October 1, 2021


Coursey Enterprises Scholarship

How to Apply: Write an essay of 200 words or less explaining why you want to become a nurse

Eligibility: Open to first-year nursing students

Amount: $250

Deadline: December 1, 2021


R&D Systems Scholarship

How to Apply: Write two essays of 500 words or less each on the impact you strive to make using your degree and why you chose this field of study

Eligibility: Open to college students with a major declared in a science-related field such as nursing.

Amount: $1,500

Deadline: December 8, 2021


Niche Nursing Scholarship

How to Apply: Create a profile on

Eligibility: Open to all high school and college students considering or currently enrolled in a nursing school or nursing-related major

Amount: $500

Deadline: December 31, 2021


Elizabeth Garde National Scholarship

How to Apply: Complete the application including a brief essay on how this scholarship will contribute towards your goal and at least two letters of recommendation.

Eligibility: Must be a post-high school student or graduate student seeking a degree in nursing or other medical profession with at least a 3.0 GPA and be a Danish Sisterhood member or the child of a Danish Sisterhood member in good standing for a minimum of one year prior to the application deadline

Amount: $850

Deadline: March 1, 2022
