Scholarships for Nursing Students

The seven scholarships below are specifically for nursing students, and each one offers a winning prize that can help pay for college costs. Heart of Healthcare Nursing Scholarship
Details: Write an essay of 2,500 words or less on how the coronavirus pandemic has caused you to reconsider your career choices or how it has simply reaffirmed them
Eligibility: Open to recently accepted or currently enrolled student in a CCNE or ACEN-accredited BSN, MSN, or DNP program in any concentration or specialty area of nursing with at least a 3.5 GPA
Deadline: September 1, 2021
AfterCollege Nursing Student Scholarship
Details: Create a profile and submit your resume
Eligibility: Open to currently enrolled students who are seeking a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in nursing with at least a 3.0 GPA
Deadline: September 30, 2021
TALSN Scholarship for Certified Nursing Assistants
Details: Write an essay between 400 and 600 words on how you plan to make an impact on the world through your medical career
Eligibility: Must be interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant
Deadline: October 1, 2021
Coursey Enterprises Scholarship
Details: Write an essay of 200 words or less explaining why you want to become a nurse
Eligibility: Open to first-year nursing students
Deadline: December 1, 2021
R&D Systems Scholarship
Details: Write two essays of 500 words or less each on the impact you strive to make using your degree and why you chose this field of study
Eligibility: Open to college students with a major declared in a science-related field such as nursing.
Deadline: December 8, 2021
Niche Nursing Scholarship
Details: Create a profile on niche.com
Eligibility: Open to all high school and college students considering or currently enrolled in a nursing school or nursing-related major
Deadline: December 31, 2021
Elizabeth Garde National Scholarship
Details: Complete the application including a brief essay on how this scholarship will contribute towards your goal and at least two letters of recommendation.
Eligibility: Must be a post-high school student or graduate student seeking a degree in nursing or other medical profession with at least a 3.0 GPA and be a Danish Sisterhood member or the child of a Danish Sisterhood member in good standing for a minimum of one year prior to the application deadline
