High School Seniors: There's Still Time For College Visits!

Students who are applying to college regular decision (with early January deadlines) can still take advantage of college visits in the next few months.
A college campus

Visiting colleges is an important part of the college admissions process. It helps students determine the colleges that are right for them, and helps to finalize the college list. Many students and parents took college tours over the spring and summer months in anticipation of applying Early Action or Early Decision, and those students have hit the ground running this fall.

However, many, many students applying regular decision (with early January deadlines) can still take advantage of college visits in the next few months.

Colleges continue to offer prospective student open houses, campus tours, and information sessions. There's also the opportunity to take your own self-guided tour to get a feel for the campus environment.

The time spent on a campus will help students solidify their college lists, enabling them to feel confident in their choices. So take an upcoming Saturday, enjoy our beautiful fall weather, and visit colleges that are on the list, and maybe even one or two that are not.  You may be in for a pleasant surprise!
