This lesson will provide a detailed overview of the Massachusetts ABLE (Achieving a Better Life Experience) program, known as the Attainable Savings Plan, which offers individuals with disabilities the opportunity to invest in a tax-advantaged savings account for short and long-term disability-related expenses, while keeping benefits such as Social Security and Medicaid. Learn about this savings program, including eligibility, benefits, and how it can foster financial independence within families.

  • Understand how students and families can utilize Attainable to pay for college expenses
  • Direct students and families that may qualify for an Attainable account on how to open an account
