If so, these college scholarships are just for you. We compiled a list of opportunities specifically for students who love taking care of the planet and encouraging green living. Share your passion for the earth and get rewarded for your efforts by submitting applications for the scholarships below.

NSHSS Earth Day Award

How to Apply: Submit a written explanation as well as a video, painting, drawing, or collage that describes a current or future environmental project taking place in your school, home, or community. Explain the process of creating the project as well as its intended impact.

Eligibility: Open to all high school students

Prize: $500

Deadline: March 15th

Annie’s Sustainable Agriculture Scholarships

How to Apply: Submit an unofficial transcript, two letters of recommendation, and the application, which focuses on describing how you are building soil health, fostering biodiversity, or promoting resilient farm communities.

Eligibility: Open to any students who will be a full-time undergraduate student or a graduate student enrolled in at least 9 credits as of Fall 2019

Prize: Awards range from $2,500 to $10,000

Deadline: March 15th

The Blades of Green Scholarship Fund

How to Apply: Submit the official application form as well as a letter of intent describing your passion for environmental studies (or a related field) and your plans for after graduation.

Eligibility: Open to undergraduate and graduate students majoring in environmental studies or a related field

Prize: $1,000

Deadline: March 15th

Brower Youth Awards

How to Apply: Submit the application describing your leadership in an environmental project or campaign, as well as a photograph of yourself and a letter of support. Preference is given to students serving on a group project (rather than individual) and for ongoing initiatives (rather than one-time).

Eligibility: Students ages 13–22 living in North America and U.S. territories may apply

Prize: $3,000, a short film about your work, & a weeklong trip in San Francisco

Deadline: May 1st

Tough Turtle Turf Scholarship

How to Apply: Students interested in the environmental or water conservation industries must submit an essay 750-1,500 words about their aspirations for after graduation.

Eligibility: Open to all high school seniors and undergraduate college students

Prize: $1,500

Deadline: December 31st

Apprentice Ecologist Award

How to Apply: Put together an environmental stewardship project, such as picking up trash, removing graffiti, or planting trees. Submit photos of your work as well as an essay describing your project and how it impacted you.

Eligibility: Open to students ages 13–21

Prize: 3 awards totaling $1,750

Deadline: December 31st
