Scholarships for College

Scholarships include The Spirit of Anne Frank Awards, Live Más Scholarship, Stan Yellott Scholarship Fund, Shaw-Worth Memorial Scholarship, and Odenza Marketing Group Scholarship.

Every scholarship dollar helps when paying for college, so we encourage students to apply to all opportunities available. To provide some help, we've compiled a list of scholarships applicable to students entering college this fall. Read the descriptions below, and set aside some time to submit your applications before the corresponding deadlines. Remember, every scholarship awarded will reduce your out-of-pocket cost and help ease your mind as you plan for college.

The Spirit of Anne Frank Awards

Description: Awarded to students who have demonstrated leadership in fighting for justice and who emulate Anne Frank's passion for peace and equality. Applicants must submit a 1,000-word essay and two recommendations.
Deadline: February 19, 2016
Award amount: Up to $10,000

Live Más Scholarship

Description: Dedicated to innovators and creators, applicants must submit a video two minutes or less in length describing their life's passion
Deadline: January 31, 2016 and May 27, 2016 (two separate contests)
Award amount: From $2,500 to $25,000

Stan Yellott Scholarship Fund

Description: Awarded to students planning to study Information Technology in college. Applicants must submit a 250-word statement and teacher recommendation.
Deadline: Ranging from March 15, 2016 to September 15, 2016
Award amount: $500

Shaw-Worth Memorial Scholarship

Description: Honoring students from New England who have worked in service to animals and shown dedication to animal respect and humane treatment. Applicants must submit a narrative detailing achievements and activities devoted to animal protection as well as three recommendations.
Deadline: March 25, 2016
Award amount: Up to $3,500

Odenza Marketing Group Scholarship

Description: Applicants must have a GPA of at least 2.5 and write two 500-word essays
Deadline: March 30, 2016
Award amount: $500
